3. "Don't touch this button or you'll get an electric shock", the man said to me. => The man warned me not to touch that button or I would get an electric shock.

4. "Well done, Brian, you've passed the exam" said his father. => Brian's father congratulated him on passing the exam.

5. "She has to go to school on time." The teacher said to me. => The teacher told me that she had to go to school on time.

6. "I am having a wonderful time, here." Nam said to me. => Nam told me that he was having a wonderful time there.

7. "You should stop smoking," my father said. => My father advised me to stop smoking.

8. "Don't waste time on playing games". My father ordered me. => My father ordered me not to waste time on playing games.

9. "We listened to music yesterday". The boys said to me. => The boys told me that they had listened to music the day before.

10. "He has eaten some snacks before going to school." Hoang said to me. => Hoang told me that he had eaten some snacks before going to school.

11. "I'm sorry, I'm late" the student said to his teacher. => The student apologized to his teacher for being late.

12. "I clean my house, today". Kien said to me. => Kien told me that he cleaned/was cleaning his house that day.

13. "I play badminton, today". Nam said to me. => Nam told me that he played/was playing badminton that day.

14. She asked me, "Do you like playing soccer?" => She asked me if/whether I liked playing soccer.

15. "Will Tom be here tomorrow?" she asked Ba. => She asked Ba if/whether Tom would be there the following day/the next day.

16. "Remember to post my letter on your way." Son said. => Son reminded me to post his letter on my way.

17. "Is the Big Ben in New York city?" Nam asked Lan. => Nam asked Lan if/whether the Big Ben was in New York City.

18. "Excellent, you're the champion, Nam". Said his friends. => Nam's friends congratulated him on being the champion.

19. "We can speak English, today". The children said. => The children said that they could speak English that day.

20. "We have just eaten some candies and cakes." The boys said. => The boys said that they had just eaten some candies and cakes.

21. She said, "Do I look alright?" => She asked me if/whether she looked alright.

22. "I didn't steal your car" The robber said. => The robber denied stealing/having stolen my car.

23. My teacher said to us, "Where are you going?" => My teacher asked us where we were going.

24. "He has just come back from HCM city". His mother said to me. => His mother told me that he had just come back from Ho Chi Minh City.

25. "I will visit Hue, next week" Cuong said to me. => Cuong told me that he would visit Hue the following week/the next week.

26. "Turn off the fan, please" My mother ordered me. => My mother ordered me to turn off the fan.

27. "It was your fault. You gave us unclear instructions" he said. => He blamed me for giving them unclear instructions.

28. Nga said "What time does the bank close?" => Nga asked what time the bank closed.

29. She said to me, "What's your name?" => She asked me what my name was.

30. She asked me, "Do you like listening to pop music." => She asked me if/whether I liked listening to pop music.

31. "Don't damage trees". Our teacher told us. => Our teacher told us not to damage trees.

32. "Tom will be here tomorrow?" Na asked. => Na asked if/whether Tom would be there the following day/the next day.

33. "Sorry, I broke your bike". The boy said. => The boy apologized for breaking my bike.

34. "Is Phong Nha Cave in Northern Vietnam, Nam?" I asked. => I asked Nam if/whether Phong Nha Cave was in Northern Vietnam.

35. "I'll give you a hand if you like" said Mary. => Mary offered/promised to give me a hand if I liked/wanted.

36. Lan asked me, "Is the Mount Everest the highest mountain in the world?" => Lan asked me if/whether Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world. (Đây là một sự thật hiển nhiên nên có thể giữ nguyên thì hiện tại đơn.)

37. "I must go to Ha Noi, tomorrow" Hoa said to me. => Hoa told me that she had to go to Hanoi the following day/the next day.

38. "We are doing our homework, now" The children said to their teacher. => The children told their teacher that they were doing their homework then.
