Thuong Temple in Lao Cai, also known as Thanh Tran Tu, is located in Lao Cai ward, Lao Cai city, Lao Cai province. The temple was built in the Le dynasty, the reign of Chinh Hoa (1680-1705), which is the place of worship of Quoc duc Hung Hung Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan. Located on Mai Linh Mountain at an altitude of 1200m above sea level. Thuong Temple was the place that Tran Quoc Tuan had chosen as a signaling place for the army to fight the northern enemy. The temple was built in the style of ancient architecture, in the shape of a peacock, in the middle is the main hall with two sides on the left and the other. Behind the temple is the temple of Phuong Dinh, with stone steles engraved, recording the legend of the temple and a brief title of the merit of Tran Quoc Tuan. Every year, Thuong Temple organizes the festival on the full moon day of January, in addition to conducting incense offering ceremony on August 20 of the lunar calendar on the death anniversary of Hung Dao King Tran Quoc Tuan. Since 1996, Thuong Temple has been classified as a national historical and cultural relic.
