Last summer, my family and I had a trip to Dalat, which was dubbed as the land of fog. We came to Da Lat by bus because we wanted to visit the scenery along the way. Dalat appeared as a city in the clouds, and we spent all our time here to visit famous places. We visited Bao Dai Palace - the residence of the last king of the Nguyen Dynasty with his family. The whole architecture was is European style, and there were a lot of beautiful flowers which were planted around the Palace. The ground floor was the place for meetings, banquets, greeting foreign guests and government officials. Bao Dai's office, library, games room were also located there. In the office there was a huge portrait of King Bao Dai and Prince Bao Long - who was chosen as the successor of the throne. The entire second floor was the resting place of the royal family, including bedrooms of the king, queen, and their children. There was also a place for the king and queen to watch the moon called the Moon Tower. The next place that we visited was Mount Langbiang, where there was a legend about a love story between a girl called Biang and her lover Lang. Their love was forbidden by their families, so they chose to die in order to stay together forever. Next, we were brought to the top of the Radar hill by a Jeep; from the top of the hill we can see Dalat from above through a dim layer of fog. In the distance were the Golden and Silver streams, and they were like two strips of silk that ran across the forest. After 3 days of exploring Dalat, we finally had to go back home. The clouds and fog in the city still lingered in my mind, and I could not wait for my next visit to Da Lat.

Last summer, my family and I had a vacation in Dalat in order to escape the burning days in Ho Chi Minh city. Instead of traveling by plane, we chose to travel by bus to enjoy the scenery along the way. Dalat is a city of fog, so everything was covered in a thick layer of mist when we arrived there at a very early time in the morning. After checking in at the hotel, we spend time to visit Bao Dai Palace - a very famous structure that tourists should not miss when coming to Dalat. This is the place where King Bao Dai - the last king of the Nguyen Dynasty spent a part of his life together with his family. It was built in a classical European style with skilful details. In the afternoon, we visited Dalat Flower Garden, the place that gathered many different kinds of beautiful flowers from all over the world. We took several pictures there, and I heard that this place would be even prettier in the Flower Festival. In the evening, we went out to the night market to enjoy some featuring foods of Dalat and enjoy the fresh air. It was getting cold as the night approached, and I had to wear an extra T shirt right in the middle of summer. On the next day, we visited Mount Lang biang. That mountain carried a sad story of a pair of lovers who could not have a happy ending. When the girl Biang and her lover Lang were forced to leave each other, they kill them self so they could stay together forever. We ended the trip by going around the city one last time. 3 days were not enough to explore Dalat, and I am sure that I will come back here next summer.

Mùa hè năm ngoái, gia đình tôi và tôi đã có một kỳ nghỉ ở Đà Lạt để thoát khỏi những ngày nóng nực ở thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Thay vì đi máy bay, chúng tôi chọn đi bằng xe buýt để thưởng thức phong cảnh trên đường đi. Đà Lạt là một thành phố sương mù, vì vậy tất cả mọi thứ được bao phủ trong một lớp sương dày khi chúng tôi đến đó vào lúc sáng sớm. Sau khi nhận phòng tại khách sạn, chúng tôi dành thời gian ghé thăm Dinh Bảo Đại - một công trình kiến trúc rất nổi tiếng mà du khách không nên bỏ lỡ khi đến Đà Lạt. Đây là nơi Vua Bảo Đại - vị vua cuối cùng của triều Nguyễn đã dành một phần cuộc đời của mình cùng với gia đình. Nó được xây dựng theo phong cách châu Âu cổ điển với các chi tiết tinh xảo. Buổi chiều, chúng tôi đến thăm Vườn hoa Đà Lạt, nơi tập hợp nhiều loại hoa đẹp từ khắp nơi trên thế giới. Chúng tôi chụp vài bức ảnh ở đó, và tôi nghe nói rằng nơi này sẽ còn đẹp hơn nữa trong dịp Lễ hội hoa. Vào buổi tối, chúng tôi đi ra chợ đêm để thưởng thức một số món ăn đặc trưng của Đà Lạt và tận hưởng không khí trong lành. Trời trở nên lạnh hơn khi đêm đến, và tôi phải mặc thêm một chiếc áo phông ngay giữa mùa hè. Vào ngày hôm sau, chúng tôi đến núi Langbiang. Ngọn núi đó mang một câu chuyện buồn về một đôi tình nhân không thể có một kết thúc có hậu. Khi cô gái Biang và người yêu Lang bị bắt phải rời xa nhau, họ tự sát để có thể ở bên nhau mãi mãi. Chúng tôi kết thúc chuyến đi bằng cách đi vòng quanh thành phố lần cuối. 3 ngày là không đủ để khám phá Đà Lạt, và tôi chắc chắn rằng tôi sẽ trở lại đây vào mùa hè tới.

I have been living in Ho Chi Minh City for five years, or we can call it Sai Gon. Sai Gon is not only a very famous in Vietnam, but a lot of people from all over the world know about it. It is the biggest city in Vietnam with about 9 million citizens. Although the structure here is pretty modern and always be upgraded, Sai Gon starts to be overloaded with this huge amount of people. The roads are full with vehicles for almost all day, and it is pretty hard for us to move fast on the main streets. I always wonder why do people here never stay in their houses, and it seems that they have to move on the road to make a living. High buildings are everywhere, and it is true that each inch of land here worth the same or even bigger amount of gold. Sometimes it makes me tired and frustrated, but Sai Gon is actually a worthy place to live and develop my career. For people who always seek for opportunity, Ho Chi Minh City is their ideal place to come.

Tôi đã sống ở Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh được 5 năm, hoặc chúng ta còn có thể gọi là Sài Gòn. Sài Gòn không chỉ nổi tiếng ở Việt Nam mà còn có rất nhiều người từ khắp nơi trên thế giới biết về nó. Đây là thành phố lớn nhất Việt Nam với khoảng 9 triệu dân. Mặc dù cơ sở hạ tầng ở đây khá hiện đại và luôn được nâng cấp, Sài Gòn bắt đầu bị quá tải với số lượng người khổng lồ này. Những con đường hầu đầy xe cộ suốt cả ngày, và thật khó để chúng ta di chuyển nhanh trên các con phố chính. Tôi luôn tự hỏi tại sao những người ở đây không bao giờ ở trong nhà của họ, và có vẻ như họ kiếm sống bằng cách cứ di chuyển ở trên đường. Các tòa nhà cao tầng ở khắp mọi nơi, và đúng là mỗi inch đất ở đây đáng giá cùng một lượng vàng hoặc thậm chí nhiều hơn. Đôi khi nó làm tôi mệt mỏi và thất vọng, nhưng Sài Gòn thực sự là một nơi xứng đáng để sống và phát triển sự nghiệp của tôi. Đối với những người luôn tìm kiếm cơ hội, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh là nơi lý tưởng để đến.

Hanoi is located in the center of the Red River Delta. It is one of the major economic, cultural and political centers of Vietnam. When you come here, you will be surprised by the youthful and dynamic pace. The infrastructure is very morden and magnificent . Along the avenues, there are many buildings, shopping malls, administrative offices. Hanoi is also home to many prestigious and well-known universities in the country such as Foreign Trade university, Hanoi university of science and technology, National Economics university, etc. During the day, roads are full with vehicles and traffic congestion, especially is at rush hours, when students go to school and adults go to work. However, at night, Hanoi is more bustling than ever. All the way, the roof are in brightly colorful light, restaurants are on display. At this time, almost everyone has returned home from work, gathering at the edge of the family. After that, they together go shopping, to entertaiment centers and parks to relax after a hard-working day. With me, Hanoi is a great place to live and work. At night wandering in the streets of Hanoi, the smell of milk flowers along the roads makes the soul become strangely peaceful. In the near future, I will build up my own beautiful house there.

Hà Nội nằm ở Trung tâm vùng đồng bằng sông Hồng. Đây là một trong những trung tâm kinh tế, văn hóa, chính trị lớn của Việt Nam. Khi đặt chân đến đây, bạn sẽ bị bất ngờ bởi nhịp sống trẻ trung, năng động. Cơ sở hạ tầng ở đây rất điện đại và tráng lệ. Dọc theo đại lộ mọc lên biết bao nhiêu những tòa cao ốc, những khu trung tâm thương mại, những cơ quan hành chính. Đây cũng là nơi tập trung nhiều trường đại học uy tín và nổi tiếng trong nước như Ngoại thương, Bách khoa, Kinh tế quốc dân,... Ban ngày, các con đường không ngớt xe đi lại, hay bị tắc nghẽn giao thông, đặc biệt là vào những giờ cao điểm, khi các em học sinh đến trường và người lớn đi làm. Tuy nhiên, về đêm, Hà Nội nhộn nhịp hơn bao giờ hết. Tất cả các con đường, mái nhà chìm ngập trong ánh sáng rực rỡ sắc màu, những quán ăn dọn hàng. Lúc này, hầu như mọi người đã trở về nhà từ cơ quan, quây quần bên mâm cơm gia đình. Sau đó, họ dẫn nhau đi đến những khu vui chơi giải trí, công viên để thư giãn sau một ngày làm việc căng thẳng. Với mình, Hà Nội là một một nơi tuyệt vời để sống và làm việc. Về đêm đi lang thang giữa lòng đường Hà Nội, mùi hoa sữa tràn ngập dọc con đường khiến tâm hồn trở nên bình yên đến lạ kì. Trong tương lai sắp tới, mình sẽ xây một căn nhà xinh đẹp cho riêng mình ở đây
