The Statue of Liberty (full name The Goddess of Liberty illuminates the world; English: Liberty Enlightening the World; French: La Liberté éclairant le monde) is a neoclassical bronze sculpture with big size, set on Liberty Island in New York. This work was designed by French architect Frédéric Bartholdi and was inaugurated on October 28, 1886. This is an item sent by the French people to America.

The architect Bartholdi was inspired by a statement by the French juristic politician, Édouard René de Laboulaye in 1865 that any station raised to mark the independence of the United States would be worthy. worthy of a joint project of both the French and American peoples.
