technology. It is argued that using computers everyday has some negative effects on kids. These
adverse effects result in poor physical health and decreased social interaction among kids. Children
using computer everyday may lack physical exercise and have critical health issues. For instance, if a
child spends 3-4 hours on computer, he will definitely lack physical activities and exercise. Hence, this
may result in obesity and poor limbs. Spending too much time looking at the computer screen may
cause poor eye sight. Consequently, the use of computers makes young kids disease prone.
Furthermore, with the use of computer, one can have access to unclassified information content. For
example, if a particular child has access to internet, he can easily find intentionally or by mistake the
sexually explicit material or profound content like terrorist activities and crime. The result can be poor
mental and psychological health. Finally, children using computers everyday may be found lacking
social interaction among friends. Children learn from each other, so they may be unable to perform well
in school and social activities.
