Alan: Can you tell me about your Tet holiday in your country?
Mai: OK. Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

Linda: Hello... I'm a new comer. I need to help.
Huy: What's up?
Linda: I want to know about the school here. Can you tell me about it?
Cuong: Of course.
Huy: My school is very excellent having red colour three storey building. I like to go school on daily basis in the proper uniform. My class teacher is very kind and teaches us to follow school discipline. My school is located at very nice place and away from all the crowd and noise of the city. My school has two small green gardens near to the main gate where lots of colourful flower beds, grassy lawns, fruits trees and two beautiful showers.
Minh: My school has lots of facilities such as one computer lab, two science labs, one big library, one common reading room, one big playground, one nice stage and one stationary shop. My school has classes for nursery to 12th class students. My school has around fifty seven highly qualified teachers including men and women, 20 helpers, one principal and 10 gate keepers. My teacher teaches us very politely and makes us learn subjects in very creative and attractive ways.

Linh: Hmmm... Do you look that woman. It's looks like her needs any helps. Let's ask her.
Quynh: Good morning, do you look this house?
Trang: Do you look the blue house? It's my house.
The woman: Yes,I found this house quite nice and I wanted to take this picture of the house as the theme for my new collection. Can you help me to describe it?
Trang: Yes, of course.My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty pink house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the neccesary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contain many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.
