My mother had a business trip to Da Nang last weekend, and I had a chance to visit this
beautiful city with her. She worked for one morning, and the rest of the time she took me
outside to visit some famous places. The first spot was the Hoi An ancient town, which
was a completely different world from the busy roads out there. I took many pictures
with the lanterns, the old corners, and enjoyed some of the very delicious food. In the
evening, we took a short trip to Dragon Bridge - a symbol of Da Nang City. Since it was
Saturday night, we had chance to witness the Dragon head blowing fire and water. It was
such a wonderful view, and I was really impressed by that. Next we went around the city
to enjoy the nightlife here, and Da Nang was very different from Ho Chi Minh City. Next
morning, we woke up pretty early to go to My Khe beach - which is also known as one of
the six most beautiful beaches of the world. The sand was white, the water was crystal
clear, and the ranges of coconut made the atmosphere seemed so poetic. In the afternoon,
we visited the Asian Park - Sun World Da Nang Wonder so I could play some interesting
games. In the evening, we went to two other famous bridges - the Han River and the
Love bridges. Both of them were so beautiful, and it was a pity that we did not have more
time to actually enjoy the view. I left Da Nang in regret that night, and I had to admit that
Da Nang was such a worthy city to live

There are many sports, which are good for our health and popular over the world. Soccer is one of my favorite sports. It is played by two teams consisting of 11 people each team. The general rule is that the ball is kicked by leg and the players get score when having the ball in their goal post. Football is known as “king” among other sports. First, it improves integrity when applying several techniques to create strong power. Second, it not only reduces stress and bad cholesterol of body but also relaxes out spirit after a hard working day. My brother usually plays football every afternoon after work as he is in a local sport club. Moreover, football is not simply one kind of sport, it is an art because of the popularity. Since there is an increasing number of football team over the world such as: Manchester United, Barcelona, Arsenal with professional players. Although I am not able to play well, I love watching football matches as they are interesting and we can also learn from their technique. Furthermore, football is public concern as well as heated debate. Football is now popular through women, who are thought not able to play this kind of sport.

Playing exercise not only improves one health but also reduce stress. I choose to play badminton after a hard studying day. Badminton is a famous sport around the world. It is played by children, adult and even od people as it helps to exercise our muscles. Unlike football, badminton needs a smaller area of place to play. All the 2 players have to do is making the ball pass by a net until it drops on the ground. Although it seems to be easy, it requires lots of practical skill and flexibility. Moreover, being good at badminton, one will be able to play other sport related to small ball such as table tennis. Nowadays, people tend to pay more attention to sports since it brings several physical and psychological benefits especially badminton. Besides, many high schools and universities teach badminton as a physical subject for students. In my opinion, everyone should take up badminton as a regular sports because of its advantages. Sport is necessary in modern society as human are going to be lazy.

My house is in Ha Noi capital. It is a big house. It has five rooms: one living room, one study room, one bedroom, one kitchen and one bathroom. In front of my house there is a yard. Behind my house there are three storehouses and a garden. In my living room, there is a big TV, two tables, two benches, four chairs, a computer and some pictures,…In my study room, there are two desks, three chairs, three closets, some books, a bookshelf and a computer. There is a small TV, two mattresses, five pillows, four blankets, and a teddy bear. There are some bowls, some cups, a fridge, a stove, a table, a cupboard and some pots,… in the kitchen. In my bathroom, there is a mirror, a toilet, a sink, some towels, some toothbrushes and some soaps. To the left of my house there is a wall. To the right of my house there are some trees. I love my house very much.

Olympia is one of my favorite TV show. This is a television knowledge contest for high school students. It is always shown on VTV 3 at 13 o'clock every Sunday. Candidates are the best students in the country. MC is quite charming and beautiful lady. The program also has a team of consultants who are experienced teachers. In the program, there are 4 competitions, which in turn is the start, the obstacle, accelerate and the goal. Every competition is very interesting and exciting, it requires students not only knowledge from books but also social knowledge. Contestants do not only have knowledge but also must have both brave and self-confidence. The students, parents go cheer for the contestants are very enthusiastic. In the contestants, competitor that I like most is Lam Vu Tuan, he is very talented and funny. My biggest dream is to study well and participate in the program compete for knowledge.

I live in a house at Tan Chanh Hiep street with my family. My house is small but it is very beautiful. It has 3 bed room, one for my parent, one for my sister and one for me. The living room is small but it is very nice and the kitchen is very convenient. My house also has a small garden with some trees and flowers that my father is planted. My house isn't large but it very beautiful, and I enjoy it very much.

What do you do in the free time? To me, it is waiting to see “Who wants to be a millionaire”. This program is of Vietnam, buy copyright from the program of the UK. It is shown on VTV3 on Tuesdays at 21 o'clock. In the program, I like MC Van Lai Sam most, who is a very funny and friendly person. The rules are quite simple, the contestants have to answer quickly and accurately, the best one will be chosen on the hot seat and try himself with the questions that the program offers. With every correct answer, he will achieve a certain milestone. The player is given 4 helpdesks, 50.50, calls to relatives, counseling on the spot, consultation with the audiences. The questions of the program are quite interesting, making the audiences so interested. I think this is a very interesting and useful program, it provides us with a wide variety of selective knowledge.My family enjoyed this show so much, all members gather in the living room to watch the show, which makes me feel so happy. In the future, I hope the program will develop further and bring to the viewers great moments of entertainment.

1. I came to Hanoi on an autumn day, and my first feeling was the feeling of a peaceful space, not like in Ho Chi Minh City. That feeling was overwhelming all my soul when I was walking along Nguyen Du Street and enjoying the Milk flower. Why was it so beautiful here? In the early winter night, in slightly cold spread hoarfrost, sitting on the bank of Thien Quang Lake, whether at the other side, I still smelt its perfume. I walked along the street and dropped myself in a sweet smell of Milk flower, the wind blew my hair, and I felt so great.
Milk flower on the streets of Hanoi goes deeply inside the memories of Hanoi people and all visistors who have come to Hanoi. It also goes into the music, the poetry, movies. Those are some good ways to introduce Milk flower to everybody. For me, means of communication such as internet or TV are the best ways to introduce Milk flower for all over the world. It is simple when everyone looks at all wonderful pictures or images of Milk flower, they will want to come and enjoy it. In Japan, they have cherry blossom, in Netherlands, they have tulip…How can we know about it? That is all thanks to means of communication. We must let them know that in Hanoi, we have Milk flower. Therefore, the things we need to do now are we should have a website about Milk Flower with pictures, clips, songs, poetry in many languages or we can hold more activities which relate to Milk flower. We must have some more activities to advertise this kind of flower. That was what I think when I saw Milk flower for the first time.
I love Hanoi. I love the early cold winter nights with Milk flower’s smell. I hope Milk flowers will be grown more on Hanoi streets. Milk flower is a precious gift that nature gives to us, especially to Hanoi, our beloved capital.

I play a lot of sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, but my favorite one is soccer. It quite simple as the twenty two players of both team try to lead the ball into their opponent’s goal. However, there are some other rules that players need to follow in order to have a fair game. There is an offside rule which prevent players from running towards the opposite goal before anybody else. There is one main referee who has full authority to enforce the laws on the players. He has the power to stop the game temporarily to check on the players’ fault, to give a yellow or direct red card or to give a penalty decision. His decision is the final one, and nobody can argue about it even though he also has two or four other assistants. An international standard soccer field need to be 100 to 110 meters in length, and 64 to 75 meters in width. A domestic standard soccer field is a little bit smaller or bigger, which is 90 to 120 meters in length, and 45 to 90 meters in width in provided that it do not become square. A soccer match consists of two half of 45 minutes each, and there is a small break of 15 minutes before both teams entering the second half. If there is no goal in that official time, they need to play for another extra time, which consists of two other 15 - minute periods. If there is still no goal in that time, the players then enter the penalty shootouts. There are five times for each team to score, and the one with the most scores becomes the winner of the whole match. Soccer can be known as the king sport, and people will never stop playing it.

Last summer, my family and I had a vacation in Dalat in order to escape the burning days
in Ho Chi Minh city. Instead of traveling by plane, we chose to travel by bus to enjoy the
scenery along the way. Dalat is a city of fog, so everything was covered in a thick layer
of mist when we arrived there at a very early time in the morning. After checking in at
the hotel, we spend time to visit Bao Dai Palace - a very famous structure that tourists

should not miss when coming to Dalat. This is the place where King Bao Dai - the last
king of the Nguyen Dynasty spent a part of his life together with his family. It was built
in a classical European style with skilful details. In the afternoon, we visited Dalat
Flower Garden, the place that gathered many different kinds of beautiful flowers from all
over the world. We took several pictures there, and I heard that this place would be even
prettier in the Flower Festival. In the evening, we went out to the night market to enjoy
some featuring foods of Dalat and enjoy the fresh air. It was getting cold as the night
approached, and I had to wear an extra T shirt right in the middle of summer. On the next
day, we visited Mount Lang biang. That mountain carried a sad story of a pair of lovers
who could not have a happy ending. When the girl Biang and her lover Lang were forced
to leave each other, they kill them self so they could stay together forever. We ended the
trip by going around the city one last time. 3 days were not enough to explore Dalat, and
I am sure that I will come back here next summer.
