For many people in the West, the nation picture industry means Hollywood. Since the end of the 19th century, this town in California has been famous for producing films that are shown all over the world. However, many people would be surprised that it is not the biggest film center in the world. This title goes to Bombay in India which produces far more films each year than American industry. These, too, are shown all over the world to mainly immigrants from India.
What about other countries? In recent years, even in the West, people are getting bored with watching only American films and now many people are also interested in watching films from China, Iran or Vietnam. However, will these film industries survive if the local population become more interested in Hollywood films?
