My best friend in high school is Lan. Lan sits next to me in class, eats with me at break time, and hangs out with me after school. She has beautiful and long hair; my mother always says that I need to pay more attention to my hair so it can be pretty as hers. I am good at English while Lan is excellent in Math, therefore we can help each other every time one of us has trouble in understanding those subjects. Besides our study, Lan is always by my side whenever I feel upset. I tell her everything, and only she can know my true feelings. We have been best friends since our young age, and I will keep this friendship forever.

My closest friend is Tam, and even though we had just met for more than a year, I have a feeling that she will be my best friend forever. I once asked that whether she went to the salon to curl her hair, but it turned out that she was born with it. She is half Chinese, so she has small long eyes and thin lips. When she puts on her casual clothes, anyone can tell that she is an actual Chinese. She can write, read and speak fluently in both Vietnamese and Chinese, and that is really impressive for most of us. She lives in a Chinese area of the city, so sometimes she takes me there to enjoy the significant food from her mother country. I have to admit that I have never been a fan of Chinese cuisine, but the food there is so excellent that I ask her to take me there to eat every weekend. Although her house is not near mine, she has to go past my house to reach school; therefore, she usually stops by and waits for me. Sometimes I ask her to buy me breakfast from her neighborhood, and in return I will be the one who rides her to school. She is a very friendly, outgoing and hilarious girl, so we always laugh out loud whenever we have time to chat with each other. This summer she will go back to China for a few weeks, and I think I am going to have a sad summer without her taking me everywhere. Tam is such a good girl, and my life would be very boring without her; therefore, I will consider her as my best friend forever.

At that time, I was very shy, afraid of new scenes and new teachers. And a friend who helped me get along with more confidence is Phuong Truc. One of my best friends in class.Truc and I have been close friends since first grade until now. They are the same age, but Truc is a head taller than me and has a mature and calm personality like an adult. You are not beautiful, but with a gentle and cute face, you are loved by many. The dark brown skin is healthy but very smooth you are proud of because it is the same skin as your father. The face is easy to see, adorning that face is jet-black hair that looks quite smooth, which is always neatly tied up by you. Sometimes, Truc even tied the two sides to look so cute. A high and wide forehead that protrudes slightly forward shows that you are a smart and agile person. But I think you study well because you are eager to learn and explore, not because of your high forehead. Truc always attracts people because his eyes can smile and talk. Every time I talk to you, I see how beautiful those eyes are. Moreover, when looking at someone, Truc also looks straight at you, showing that you are an honest, courageous person who is not afraid of anything. The garlic nose, although it's not very pretty, but I think it suits your round face very well. You are an example for me to follow. In class, Truc is the leader, so you both study well and actively participate in academic and cultural activities organized by the class and school. Every day you go to school, your clothes are neat and tidy, not sloppy like other students because you have prepared in advance since the evening. Your behavior is always praised by her in front of the class at weekend activities, what about studying? Actually, you study hard and your handwriting is beautiful too. In class, every time she gave an advanced math exercise, you were persistent in thinking to find a solution, not giving up like us. And when you don't understand the lesson, you can confidently ask her to guide you to learn from other exercises. You are also known as a writer by your friends because you write very well and coherently. In class, you study hard and be polite to your teachers, get along with friends, and at home, you are also very obedient and diligent in working. Having the opportunity to go to a friend's house to play, I was very surprised to see that you were working hard to cook, water the plants... to help your parents. You divide the time to do the homework, work very reasonable, so even though you are busy doing the homework, you still have time to help your parents, play and entertain.Truc was my best friend during elementary school.
