Being a volunteer is one of the best things you can do with your life. I have been a member of a charity fund since 18. As a volunteer, I have had many chances to visit different regions in Vietnam to help people who need help. The trip that I remember the most is the trip to Central Vietnam in 2020. At that time, people living here were suffering from a lot of difficulties and lost after three floods, four storms and a series of landslides. My organization held a fundraiser in Ho Chi Minh to collect money, clothes and necessities. Many benefectors came to donate things. After that, we went to several provinces in Central Vietnam, met the committee there and distributed the donated things. I still remember that driving was very difficult due to the mud, many roads were still flooded so it was impossible to cross. In addition, landslides could occur at any time so it was really dangerous and stressful. However, seeing the joy of people receiving gifts, I felt that all the hard work was worth it. I hope there are more and more charity organizations as well as endowments to help needy people.
