Report to Sales Manager

The period (from) January 1st to April 30th has one of intense activity, the sales figures (are) being much higher than been forecast (24.5 percent).

Previously it had (been) expected that sales be approximately the same as those from October December of last year. Some members of the board of directors had actually forecast (a) small loss.

Much of the increase in sales can (be) attributed to better advertising. Moreover, sales force was increased.

Most successful sales (are) of exercise books and art paper. The market for such product (of) computer accessories, however, was disappointing, contrary to what ( has )been originally expected.
