Robots are machines that can do tasks without a person telling them what to do every step of the way. Imagine having a friend who never gets tired and can remember lots of things at once; that’s a bit like a robot. They can be as big as a car or as small as a bug. You might have seen robots in movies or on TV, looking like humans or sometimes just like moving metal arms. These metal arms are super helpful in places like car factories, where they help build cars by doing the same thing over and over again, really fast and without making mistakes. Some robots are sent to explore space, where it’s too dangerous or far away for humans to go. They send back pictures and information about planets and stars. Other robots are made to look and act like people or animals. These can be fun to play with or help people who are sick or need a friend. There are even tiny robots, called nanobots, being designed to help doctors fix problems inside our bodies. As time goes by, robots are getting smarter and learning to do more things. They can help us with chores, teach us new things, and even play games with us. Robots are not just a part of our imagination anymore; they are becoming an important part of our world, helping us in ways we once only dreamed of.
