**My Favourite Type of Music**

There are many (1) **types** of music in the world. My favourite type is pop music. I love this type of music because it enables me to enjoy passing time whenever I feel bored. It started in the USA in the mid-1950s, then it reached the whole world. Some of the most successful (2) **musicians** are pop singers: Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Charlie Puth, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber and the list goes on. Pop music often includes danceable tempo, easy to remember lyrics, and the music videos are often flashy.

Sometimes when I'm doing homework, I listen to music on YouTube. I also watch music videos between studying sessions when I take breaks. My favourite Pop song is Justin Bieber's "Pray". It's a meaningful song about hope for the homeless and for the people that don't have food, shelter, people that died in wars and that he wants to see the world change. In fact, all of my friends love this song and we listen to it together. We also love listening to Charlie Puth's songs as he's a (3) **talented** musician.

Live music is incredibly entertaining. Whenever a pop artist is performing in a show near our city I beg my parents to take me. Music concerts are full of fun. I can see people (4) **singing** along, the public dancing, and at the end of the show you can rush to the singer and ask for an autograph. Listening to pop music is my favourite leisure activity. It has a rich history and I enjoy discovering new artists. I love going to concerts and enjoying that (5) **festive** atmosphere.
