Good news about the environment!

Good news about the environment!
We read so many stories every day about bad things happening to the environment. There's a lot of bad news, but there's also some good news!
Here are four from last year: -Many countries are using less coal and oil to produce electricity. If we continue at the current rate, we will stop using coal and oil by 2050.
-A British company is currently producing a type of plastic from seaweed. If you bury a plastic bottle made from seaweed in soil, it will decompose naturally without harming the soil. -We can generate electricity from solar and wind energy. Now scientists think they can generate electricity from trees! If they succeed, it will truly be "green" electricity!
-We all use batteries all the time, but they harm the environment if you bury them land. So what's interesting is that a company is making a cheap battery out of sea salt. It has four times the capacity of conventional batteries and is safe to bury in soil.
Not all is bad! Question:
1. When will we stop using coal and oil if we continue at the current rate?
................................................................ ...............................
2. Can we generate electricity from the energy of rain?
................................................................ ...............................
*** ABOUT YOU 1 what should you do to protect environment? 2 what will happen if we keep polluting the land?
