A child will be an aldult in the future.A good citizen in future must be a good child who were growing up in a good envirnoment of education.There are some parents who believe that children should use all of their free time to participate in activities such as sports, music, playing with friends and doing extra homework instead of doing chores at home. Others think that children should be taught how to do housework as soon as they are old enough. I also think that sharing in household tasks can benefit children of all ages and therefore we will have a cosier atmostphere in our family.
First of all, household tasks build the children's skills. For example, very young children can learn the classifications skills when the pick up their toys and put them in the carbinets after playing.Older children can learn about the importance of cooperation by helping their parents with the housework. If everyone in the family has their own role to play in keeping the home clean, children can learn how to fulfil their duties in family. For example, after I grew tall enough, I was given the chore of washing the dishes. My younger brother was given the job of drying and putting the dishes in the cabinets. We were taught that only after the chores were done, could our family have the time for more amusing activities, such as going to the movies or on a picnic. Thus, by doing our jobs as we were instructed, we were very happy because we have just done a good job and due to our "co-operation" ,we can complete tasks more efficiently. Secondly,by doing household tasks, we can also develop a sense of responsibility by helping parents with the housework. We were also taught about cleaning and cooking which may seem dull, but knowing how to do them make life a lot easier.Let's imagine what will you can do if you are unable to do your own laundry or cook anything for yourself?... Another very important reason is that if every member in the family share household tasks together, the family will be happier. Children can help their parents with simple tasks such as picking up their own rooms, starting dinner occasionally, or taking care of younger siblings..Then the family can relax together, and parents won't feel like servants to their "couch potato" offspring.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that children should help with the household tasks as soon as they are old enough. The children will be more confident and responsile aldults .This is because if they can successfully handle tasks at home, they will handle life better, too. It is very useful in their future lives when they grow older.
